Binulad (Dried Fish)

Binulad (Dried Fish),
Binulad or bulad” (for Visayans) or “daing” (for Luzonians) or dried fish (or other denizens of the sea like squid)
. Filipinos like to eat fish. It’s a dining mainstay along with rice. Binulad (dried fish) is very like food of the Cebuano's people. It's a fish with salt and left out to dry in the hot sun a days or a week to make it totaly dry.We put salt to prevent deadly bacteria from forming on the surface of the fish. Here in Roxas City, binulad(dried fish) is common food because Roxas City is the Sea food Capital of the Philippines. Like most unhealthy food, binulad taste great and is highly addictive once you get used to it or eat. On its own, salted dried fish is almost inedible, but a nibble of bulad(binulad) dunked in vinegar mixed with crushed sili, with a plate of hot rice, is very good to eat.
